Still in the new year spirit, and as you all know it's the Hamattan season, a lot of people have been asking me to do a post on how to rock a healthy skin this season, here is what you have been waiting for.
Yeah! Y'all know this is like my first post on my blog, yeah it's and I'm super excited *winks* okay let's get down to the business of the day.
It's the season were cracking and dryness of the skin is the order of the day, so to have a healthy skin. Requires extra measures.1 protect your skin against harsh weather make sure your skin is supple and full of moisture in order to avoid dryness and cracking of the skin. Use mineral based products only. Ensure your skin is properly oiled.2 if you have cracked lips drink a lot of water and use shea butter on ur lips it will help heal the lips. Don't live the house without a lip balm or lip gloss and your hand cream, don't lick your lips saliva will only make them dry and ashen, instead use a lip balm or lip gloss to prevent cracking. Always breath through your nose cos breathing through the mouth will cause moisture to evaporate from the lips.3 use mild soap for the face cos harsh soap will dry up the oil in the face don't use facial cleanser that has alcohol and astringents, don't wear heavy makeup, use a foundation and a dab of loose powder with your lip gloss you re good to go.
